A BIT ABOUT US

For more than 85 years Tainui Press Design & Print has serviced the printing and digital design needs of local businesses, dairy industry services, manufacturers and the thoroughbred racing industry.

The business began in Tainui Street, Matamata, from where the company originally gained its name in 1934, moving to a number of different locations over the years, Tainui Press Design & Print is now based in modern premises at 7 Short Street in Matamata.

Being long-time full members of PrintNZ allows us to constantly measure our standards, procedures and professional attitudes in a competitive printing industry. This association also ensures we remain at the forefront of the technological advances and industry trends.

To get the best out of this technology, Tainui Press Design & Print understand the importance of employing and training local talent. This has seen the company proudly produce two of the NZ Printing Industries’ “Graphic Design/Pre-press Apprentices of the year” recipients, with two more making the finals. This was the first time a New Zealand printing company had produced two national winners in the same branch of the industry. Tainui Press Design & Print continues its policy in investing and training apprentices.

Employing its own in-house design team ensures that each project can be monitored from conception, through production to delivery.
Where projects are too large or require specialty finishing, Tainui Press Design & Print have associations with some of the best printers and finishers in New Zealand, ensuring that we can remain competitive and provide professional management for the entire project on your behalf.

As the printing industry has undergone significant changes, Tainui Press Design & Print has diversified, introducing digital label printing and signwriting to its armoury of on-site technology.

So if you are needing professional design and or printing, whether its advertising, banners, posters, business stationary, invitations, duplicate or triplicate docket books, invoices, statement paper, brochures, fliers, footpath signs, window graphics, sales brochures and hip stickers, and any other need not mentioned here.
